Space Mountain is my favorite ride. I have so many great memories growing up waiting in line for that ride. I love the dark, space theme.
ReplyDeleteSplash Mountian is my favorite, I love water rides in general and all the songs and of course the big splash at the end!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic giveaway! My favorite ride has to be Space Mountain :)
ReplyDeleteI've only been to Disneyland once but I remember really liking the Haunted Mansion. It's so cool!

My favorite ride is The Haunted Mansion. I had my first kiss with my boyfriend, now my husband 15 years ago! And we love it when it's transformed for Nightmare Before Christmas!
ReplyDeleteKatie N.
Now following you on Twitter - and I love it's a small world
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this prize to raffle at one of my beach cleanups...we have lots of families that participate and what a wonderful gift it would be!
ReplyDeleteI really like space mountain. Now even more since they upgraded it some years ago. But I do miss the sky buckets though.
ReplyDeleteMy kids love the Tower of Terror - my daughter was only 8 when she first went on it! I love Disney because she has Celiac Disease - we can seldom go out to eat because of it - but Disney actually has food there that she can eat!
ReplyDeleteThey've been begging to go back for a few years now...this would be the only way we're going anytime soon! Thanks for the opportunity:)
And oh my gosh, I follow you on Twitter!
ReplyDeleteAs a former Mouse Employee, I have to say that Mr. Toad's Wild Ride has a soft spot in my heart. I used to work in the Fantasy Land shops!
I grew up in Orange County and still have fond memories of the E tickets....and so the Matterhorn is still my favorite ride, all these many years later. The adrenalin rush as I gripped tightly to the sides of the car, holding on for dear life, still hits me when I get into the sled now as a 50+ year old. I love Space and Splash Mtn, too....but the sweet, sweet memories of The Matterhorn make it my fave!

ReplyDeleteCall me old fashioned, but I love the carousel, because I love all carousels!
ReplyDeleteFor sure Space Mountain, it is fast and dark and I laugh about 90% of the ride out of sheer joy!
ReplyDeleteI have only been once before with my then 2 year old. She didn't want to go on many rides but enjoyed looking at everything. With my limited knowledge of the rides I would have to say the carousel. I am definitely going to have to try Space Mountain (seems to be a big hit).
ReplyDeleteBuzz Light Year is my boys favorite. I think it is the closets things they have to a video camera. My favorite is the Small World. I can not help to laugh at my 2 year old when he sings the song.

I love the Haunted Mansion when it's decorated for "Nightmare Before Christmas", Pirates of the Caribbean 'cause we love to search for Cap'n Jack, and the Jungle Cruise for all the corny jokes the tourists never get.
ReplyDeleteI truly love Small World. It reminds me of being a little girl and that feeling that anything is possible. I love to watch my sons face as he stares at everything inside.

My boys are Pirates of the Carribbean's biggest fans! They love to duck when the pirates are shooting each other so they don't get shot. :)
ReplyDeleteDisney's Enchanted Tiki Room. 1) The Dole Whip is the best dessert in all of Disneyland 2) Only place where you will constantly see the time, but never find out what time it is 3) The mystery... What did ever happen to Rosita??

My family and I just love riding the train throughout the park. Its just a nice easy train ride to relax on days when it is busy or hot. Thanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteChelsea V.D.K.
Still going through and thinking of all of our family's favorite rides. Pirates of the Caribbean is definitely an all time favorite, and I've only ver skipped it a handful of times out of the 100 or so times we've visited the park. I admit, though, that I miss the old scene where the pirates were chasing the wenches, rather than the new other way 'round with the wenches chasing after the pirates who are stealing food...
ReplyDelete(daily comment)

I would have to say that It's a Small World is my sentimental favorite. It was my favorite ride as a child so I always feel nostalgic when I go on it and I can't wait for my own kids to ride it. I haven't truly arrived at Disney until I've been on It's a Small World. I also love the way they theme the ride for the holidays. Space Mountain is a very close second though. :)
ReplyDeleteThinking of even more favorites, and am remembering how much we love Splash Mountain and all the delicious anticipation leading up to the plunge towards the end. So much fun!
ReplyDelete(daily comment)
Seeing I have never been to Disneyland and am yet to take my 4 1/2 year old twins, I can't tell you what my favorite ride is but would love to go so I could get a favorite :-)
ReplyDeleteSpace Mountain was my favorite until they made Nemo - now I love that ride :) so real to the movie!
ReplyDeleteThe jungle cruise is another favorite, and always makes me laugh - especially (like another commenter mentioned) all of the inside jokes that only the locals understand.
ReplyDelete(daily comment)
Space Mountain is my fav ride. I dont really kno why, It is jst the first and last ride that I always want to ride!!
ReplyDeleteFollowing Kids and Mice on Twitter (lttlewys)

ReplyDeleteI remember being a little girl & going on It's A Small World & being totally creeped out by the dolls, lol. I'm so glad they re-did the ride cause now I can ride it without being creeped out. I love that they put Lilo & Stitch in there too!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Daily Entry! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that I'm not out of favorites by this time, but another is the Monorail. So overlooked, but such a peaceful way to see the park and a great way to rest your feet for a bit.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite ride, well I have so many, but I think that I would have to say that Indiana Jones is my favorite, especially since the time that we took my mother-in-law and she was so amazed that Indy could hang from that rope for that entire ride. lol
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Disneyland, but lived in the central Florida area my entire childhood and would go to Disney World at least two times a year. My favorite ride (still to this day) is Pirates of the Caribbean.
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone's having a great day!

Very excited that Captain Eo is coming back for a while. That was a favorite of mine for a long time, and I was sad to see it go. I may not have thought much of MJ on a personal level, but his music was always good, and Captain Eo was just such a fun show - so cheesy!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite ride is Indiana Jones. Because its sooo fun and realistic. The special effects are pretty amazing too!
ReplyDeletemommy-momo@live.com
My favorite ride has always been Pirates of the Caribbean. Not sure why, exactly—perhaps it's the way it conveys a sense of a different time and place, and of course it's full of pirates and skeletons and treasure and stuff.
ReplyDeleteI'm following on Twitter, too as @MarinDaddy
ReplyDeleteLove The Its a small world would love to share the experience with my kids!!!
ReplyDeleteI am following you on Twitter now!
ReplyDeleteI just tweeted about the contest.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to be back at Disney and soak it all in. Soon hopefully!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is It's a small world. Love it at Christmas time. Thanks for the chance to win. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen we visit disneyland we always visit the Tiki room. I like going here because I have great memories of the Tiki room as a child. My brother and I loved to go to the Tiki room when we were kids. We have taken our kids there over the years and they think we are crazy to love it so much. There are very few original things left at Disneyland so this is a gem to me.
ReplyDeleteFavorite ride at DisneyLand? Why Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, of course!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved Space Mountain, but... my kids haven't always been so enthusiastic.. at first LOL. The first time my oldest daughter went on Space Mountain with me she was 7 and very nervous getting onto the ride. A few minutes and some hand squeezing across the ride and she was grinning and ready to ride again as soon as they raised the bar to let us off. I don't know how many times we road Space mountatin that day but that has been almost 20 years ago and she and I still talk about that first ride with big grins on our faces.
ReplyDeleteI would love to share that same expereince with my youngest who just turned 9. She is the only one of my three children who has never visited a Disney theme park. :) Crossing my fingers on this one. :)

ReplyDeletethank you for the opportunity. i like all the rides, parades... Disney is a fun place to be for adults and kids well for the family
Can't believe it's time for my last favorite. It's hokey, but I flipping LOVE the canoes. It's a bit of effort, sure, but I really enjoy getting the chance to use my arms a bit, especially after standing around in a bunch of lines. I also like that you get to see some parts of the park normally not seen when you visit, even if you do go over to the island or on one of the boats. I haven't been on that one either since my son was born, but I'm looking forward to it in the future.
